Read 180 Course Description

Read 180 Universal is a comprehensive, blended learning program proven to accelerate the reading levels of students in Grade 4 – 12. It is a reading program designed for struggling readers who are reading 2 or more years below grade level. It provides blended learning instruction with a combination of digital media and traditional classroom instruction. Read 180 will be delivered during one of the student's related arts class times . Each day will include whole-group instruction, small-group rotations, and whole-class wrap-up. Small-group rotations include individualized instruction using an adaptive computer software program, small-group instruction with a teacher, and independent reading. Read 180 Universal is designed for students in elementary through high school. Once they enter the READ 180 program, they remain there until they are reading on-grade level and are having consistent success comprehending what they read.
