THEATRE 1

THEATRE I introduces the basic elements of stage performance. In the class, students will have a chance to:

• Learn the history of theatre.

• Perform individually and in groups both scripted and improvised scenes.

• Write both original and adapted scripts.

• Direct other students in scripted scenes.

• HAVE FUN almost every single minute.

REQUIRED MATERIALS

Students should bring their charged Chromebooks every day. If students like working with traditional pen and paper, they are welcome to bring those tools, although assignments will be communicated and submitted digitally.
