What is Parent Backpack?  Parent Backpack is an online application that replaces the PowerSchool Parent Portal.  With Parent Backpack, you are able to view your child's grades, school attendance, and any discipline incidents when you are logged into the system. Best of all, Parent Backpack works on any device and is mobile friendly.

Want to know your child's CURRENT average???

  Although we send home progress reports and report cards, keeping up with your child's current average has never been easier! You can check your student's grades daily just by using the Parent Portal: an up to date computerized display of your child's individual assignments, grades, and calculated average.

For now, the parent portal can still  be accessed from the Ralph Chandler home page. Scroll down to the bottom and click on the blue compass icon. This will take you to a new window where you will choose the yellow compass icon for the parent portal. You do need a password for this system, but it is the same one from elementary school. If you have never accessed this system before, please follow the instructions to sign up for Parent Backpack as the district is moving toward using backpack in the future.
