Grade will be weighted as follows:

Major Assessments - 50% (Projects & Lab Reports)

Minor Assessments - 50% 

30% - Classwork 

20% - Quizzes

"Homework" in science consists of classwork assignments that were not finished in class and are taken up for a grade.

Grading Scale:

100-90 = A

89 - 80 = B

79 -70 = C

69 - 60 = D

59 or below F

Grading Codes:

ABS = Absent (50%) and has 5 days to turn in for full credit

GFA = Grading Floor Applied (50%)

NHI = Not Handed In (50%)

EX/Omit = not factored (usually a lab that was missed due to ABS)

INC = Incomplete work (70%)
