I believe that we all need to work together as a team to provide the best educational environment for each student. To make each day flow smoothly, we need to reinforce our 

schoolwide discipline plan

1. I will listen and follow directions.

 2. I will respect myself and others.

 3. I will be responsible and make good choices.

 4. I will keep my hands, feet, and objects to myself.

A daily folder containing a behavior chart will go home daily. This will show the type of day your student had at school.

GREEN= Great Behavior

RED=Unacceptable behavior (try again tomorrow)

*Please check your child's folder every day for papers.

Due to diverse student abilities, I use a variety of instructional strategies such as whole class instruction, small group instruction, and individualized instruction. Also, I use a variety of individualized communication systems, a variety of supports, such as physical assistance, physical prompts, verbal prompts, and assistive technology applications when needed. Students rely on a "visual schedule" as needed to organize their day and to help with their routine.
