Welcome to the 2023-24 school year.  I look forward to working with all of you to help each student reach their full potential.  

School Mission Statement:

We provide educational experiences, in cooperation with the home and community, that prepare students for lifelong learning and for ethical, productive participation in a democratic society and the global community.

News:  We had our End-of-Year Reading Inventory test and student who met their yearly growth goals will be invited to a celebration/Pizza Party Tuesday, May 21 at 11:45 in the Library.

Reading Intervention, or "Literacy Lab"  uses the Read 180 and System 44 reading programs.  These are excellent reading programs and students can make a lot of growth if they work hard.  My goal for all students is to improve their Lexile level by their "Expected Growth," which is one year's reading growth at each students Lexile level. We will be taking the Reading Inventory assessment to determine each students Lexile level three times this year (Beginning, Middle, and End of Year).  Students are able to work from home in the case of an absence, or eLearning days.   Please see Google Classroom for student assignments when eLearning from home.
