WHAT IS INCLUSION?

Inclusion is an effective practice of instructing students with disabilities with their typical peers. Inclusions provides direct, engaging, and meaningful instruction through two teachers. Each teacher teaches content and each student is responsible for learning the grade level content. NWMS's model of inclusion will be seen in MATH and ELA. Teachers are expected to Co-Plan, Co-Instruct, and  Co-Assess. Students are expected to take responsibility for their learning, meet high expectations, and respect others.
