About me

In 2003, I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. In 2006, I completed my first master's degree program in Reading/Literacy from Walden University and in 2021, I completed my second master's degree in Special Education from Quinnipiac University. This will be by 6th year working in special education.

I am the proud mom of two awesome children! My son works as a HVAC technician. My daughter is attending Liberty University to get her Masters degree in counseling. 

 I also have a few pets that are very much part of our family- a long-hair chihuahua, a yorkie , two horses and three cats!

I love being outdoors! We live in such a beautiful area of SC with lots to do in nature. In my free time I can be found riding my horses, hiking with my family, kayaking on local lakes or spending time working in my yard. Fun fact....I live in an old farmhouse and spend a lot of my free time restoring it back to it's 1864 charm; It's certainly a labor of love!
