School Counseling Team

Elizabeth Reed, 7th Grade School Counselor 

Mrs. Reed has been a counselor at Northwood since 2013.  Mrs. Reed came to Greenville to attend Clemson University where she received her Ed.S. and M.Ed. in School Counseling. She received her B.A in psychology from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. Mrs. Reed loves to spend time with her husband and two children. She enjoys being outside, going to the beach and reading. She loves to take advantage of opportunities to go home to New Hampshire and visit her family and friends.

Corky Mason, 6th Grade School Counselor 

This is Mrs. Mason's 2nd year at Northwood Middle. She is a native of Greenville and received her M.Ed. in School Counseling from Liberty University. Prior to entering school counseling, Mrs. Mason spent 22 years living overseas and working with refugees throughout the Middle East. She enjoys watching her daughter compete, traveling, and spending time with family.

Leslie Bishop, All Grades Counselor

This is Mrs. Bishop's fourth year as a school counselor and her first year at Northwood Middle School. Prior to that, she spent many years teaching and helping my husband with his logging business. She received my B.S. in Psychology from Francis Marion University and M.Ed. In Secondary School Counseling from The Citadel. She and her husband have been married almost 20 years and have 3 children. They grew up and lived in the Lowcountry until moving to Greenville in 2023.
