My name is Lila Nickles. I grew up in Greenville, SC, and then moved to Greenwood, SC in 2013. I have two younger brothers. At my family’s house, we have seven cats and two dogs. This summer, my mom and I found a tuxedo kitten. My husband and I "adopted" this kitten, and we named her Penny Whistle. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
I graduated from the University of South Carolina, where I received my B. A. in Elementary Education. I am currently working on a master's degree in teaching through UofSC. Go Gamecocks!
I am thrilled to welcome you to this new school year! I know this year is going to be full of many memories. I am looking forward to having your child as a student and watching them learn, grow, and flourish. I am committed to creating a community with respectful and empathetic learners. My important goals are to create a classroom community that feels like a home away from home, build lasting relationships with students, and meet each student's needs.
