Hello! 😄

My name is Joanna Morris, and I am so excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher for the 2025–2026 school year! I feel incredibly grateful to spend each day learning and growing alongside your amazing children. We are going to have a wonderful year together full of learning, laughter, and new adventures!

About Me 🌻

I’m originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, but for the past 8 years, I’ve called Greenville, South Carolina my home. I graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Inclusive Education—Go Cats! 

This will be my 4th year at Simpsonville Elementary School, and I feel so lucky to be part of this school family. Before teaching 2nd grade, I taught Kindergarten with Mrs. Timms!

🐾 I’m a proud dog mom to a golden retriever named Daisy Mae!

🌍 I love to travel, especially hiking and road trips! 

🎶 I am a HUGE Taylor Swift fan—you’ll definitely catch me singing along!
