Hello! I am Ms. Lunghi. Here's a bit about me.. I am originally from New York. I moved to Taylors, SC in October 2013. I have a 15 year old daughter, Gabriella. I graduated from Dowling College with a Master’s degree in Special Education and I have been teaching since 2004. I've taught children in all grade levels. I even taught adults ESOL, SAT, ACT, and GED. I also taught the incarcerated youth. My parents finally made the move down here! I have one sister, she is has ventured down south as well and we have 2 doodles, Olivia and Kennedy and an African Grey parrot named Sonny. I rescue all kinds of animals! I am an animal lover! Right now, I have one rescue, his name is Jebediah, he is precious!
I was offered a teaching position at Heritage Elementary School in 2013. I've been teaching at Heritage ever since! I love it here! It is one big happy family. I have taught self-contained, resource and inclusion. I also taught summer school and I loved teaching it! We had so much fun over the summer!
My theme for my classroom is bows! I also have a fun pink tree that I decorate according to seasons and it is so much fun!! I will be teaching inclusion as well as resource this year! I am looking forward to seeing all my familiar faces and meeting some new faces this year!
