Hello! My name is Laura Flowers, and I am one of the 6th Social Studies teachers! I am originally from Ohio, but I quickly decided that I would never move back to Ohio because the winters are absolutely fabulous down here! I visited Greenville for the first time 13 years ago, and I absolutely fell in LOVE with the area!! I have been wanting to move here from my home in the Lexington/Columbia area for the last 13 years, and I was finally able to make it happen this summer.
I have two Shelties, which are like Miniature Collies. Maxie is 11-years-old, and she is as sweet as sugar and a rescue. And Millie I rescued recently also, and she is 4-years-old. She looks and acts like a puppy, so I say she is spicy! We love to go on adventures together, especially to downtown Greenville. I also enjoy camping, tubing on the river, and kayaking. This is my 17th year of teaching, and I am beyond thrilled to be teaching here at Greer Middle School!!
