CLASSROOM RULES
In order to guarantee that all the students in my classroom have the excellent learning climate they deserve, I am utilizing the following classroom rules and Discipline Plan.
C. General Classroom Rules
NO water fountain (Must bring own water bottle)
2. The School District of Greenville County and Berea High School must adopt the new cell phone and electronic devices policy effective January 7, 2025.
Key Policy Details:
No cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, or headphones are allowed to be visible or turned on in the building between 8:45 AM and 3:45 PM.
Cell phones must be turned off and stored out of sight during the school day, preferably in the student’s book bag.
Exceptions exist for:
Instructional use during lunch
Students with health needs (authorized by IEP/504/Health Plan)
Unique circumstances approved in writing by the principal
Consequences for violations:
1st Infraction: School-level detention.
2nd Infraction: In-School Suspension (ISS).
3rd Infraction and each additional infraction: Out-of-School Suspension (OSS).
3 . Arrive on time and enter the room quietly.
4. Be Respectful. Everyone is expected to be courteous and respectful of the feelings and property of others. Do not deface the property of others or that of the school. Rudeness and disrespect in any manner will not be tolerated. Do not use vulgar or offensive language. No talking during instruction.
Be Prepared. Come to class prepared to work. Bring a Chromebook EVERYDAY.
Be Cooperative and Participate. Do what’s right and be involved in what’s going on.
NOTE: Abide by all School Policies as outlined in your Student Handbook.
If a Student Chooses to Break a Rule

Students moved from room and will be given an alternate assignment if they are unable to complete the original assignment.
Teacher/Student conference after class, begin a behavior journal
Parent Conference/Parent Call – update behavior journal
Administrative referral – update behavior journal
SEVERE DISRUPTION--Immediate Referral to Office/Principal
D. Computer Usage Rules
Only operate the computer that you are assigned to. You are responsible for that computer during the class period.
Do not load any programs or software on the hard drive.
Do not change any settings on the computer.
Social Media, etc. are not approved sites.
