**Spelling Note: Spelling assessments will include spelling words and word wall words that will be given to students each week. The assessment will also include several words that use the spelling pattern studied that week or in previous weeks. These words WILL NOT be given to students to study each night. This will assess how well students have understood the spelling patterns learned in the year, not just words memorized for the test.
