Important Information

Tardies from Breakfast

*Students eating breakfast must arrive to the cafeteria before 7:45. Students that are not in class by the 8:00 bell will receive an unexcused tardy for the day. Exception: Late bus riders are allowed to eat breakfast when their bus arrives and do not receive a tardy. Staff members are in the cafeteria to monitor breakfast and to remind students of the time.

  • Apply or register their student to Special Focus schools and programs (Fine Arts Center, Career Centers, etc.)
  • Receive alerts and notifications regarding their students
  • View their student's school and contact information

Absence Notes

Parents must send in a dated note when students are absent stating the reason student was absent. Parent notes will excuse the first 10 absences but medical notes must be presented for any absence beginning with the 11th absence.

Attendance Policy

Students must attend school for at least three hours to be counted as present for the day.

Ride Changes

Ride changes must be received via a parent note or email. If you send a written note, remind your child to give it to the teacher instead of leaving it in their homework folder. If a ride change must be made via email, please keep in mind that the teacher must send a response to you to let you know she received the email. If you do not receive a reply email, assume the teacher did not get the email, and she will send your child home the normal way. If you are concerned that the teacher may not see the email, please call the school's front office and they will let the teacher know to check her email.
