About Mrs. Nelson

Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Angie Nelson, and here is a little bit of information about me. I graduated from Furman University with a double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I have taught in Greenville County for seventeen years and ten of those years have been here at Rudolph Gordon School. On a more personal note, my husband (Brian) and I have two sons, Carter (a sophomore at Clemson) and Gavin (a sophomore in high school). We live in Simpsonville and have a doberman named Gunner and a dachshund named Desi. Some of my favorite hobbies are traveling, spending time with my family, reading, organizing, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers. I’m a big fan of Disney World and Clemson football.

This year I will do my very best to keep you updated on your child’s academic progress. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year. Our partnership is one of the biggest keys to your child’s success this year.
