About Me

Hello Music Friends,🎶
Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! I'm looking forward to meeting you and having a great time in music!

This is my 19th year teaching at our wonderful school! I hold a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music from Winthrop University and a Master of Music Education degree from Anderson University. I'm a wife and a mom to three adult children. Other family members include my furry dog🐕and 20 cows! MOO!🐮

When I'm not at school, I enjoy singing in my church choir, running, working out, baking desserts and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite vacation spot is the BEACH 🏖️ where I love to sit in the sun, ride the waves and eat delicious seafood! 🦞😎 

Music is a huge part of my life and I enjoy so many styles of music. I feel that music is something you can participate in your whole life, whether it's singing in a choir or learning to play an instrument. It's my desire that you will become an active participant and love experiencing music like I do!
