What is Seesaw? An Introduction to Seesaw
Seesaw will be our data base for sharing assessments with 4k families.
Assessment is an important part of our learning trajectory in 4k as we teach to each individual student. Assessment in 4k is not a test, but a fun learning activity. In fact, much of our assessment is observed in play. To effectively communicate to parents and to extend learning at home, our classroom will use an online portfolio called See Saw. You will be getting a unique and private code from your child's teacher to view his or her learning at school, and you are invited to extend that learning at home! Learning targets will be posted weekly in your child's newsletter.
Seesaw is a simple way for teachers and students to record and share what's happening in the classroom.
Seesaw gives students a place to document their learning, be creative and learn how to use technology.
Each student gets their own journal and will add things to it, like photos, videos, drawings, or notes.
Parents are only notified about their own child’s work, and all data is safe and secure.
