Parents,

This year, I will be Co-Teaching with Mr. Caterisano this semester.  

Students taking our Biology course  which is a required course for high school graduation and includes a SC End of Course exam which accounts for 20% of the final course grade.  Topics covered are aligned with the SC biology state standards.  Topics covered build on previously learned life science standards and introduce new concepts in the areas of biochemistry, cells, energetics, molecular basis of heredity, genetics, evolution, and ecology.  Most importantly, biological concepts are integrated with science and engineering practices such as analyzing and drawing conclusions from data.  It is necessary for students to set aside time to study and read the textbook to be successful in this course.

You will be kept up to date on all assignments through Backpack and Google Classroom.
