This page is for you! Listed below is the Team Panthers calendar. This calendar includes due dates of major grades and minor graded assignments. It is your responsibility to keep track of due dates and turn in work on time or within the 7 day late policy.
New grading policy:
If you are in class and choose to not use time wisely to finish the classwork that is graded, you may not be allowed to finish it at home and within that 7 day late policy. If ample time is given to finish classwork, and you do not finish the work but were able to, you may not be allowed to turn the work in after class is dismissed. This is a school policy. Please talk to me for more information. This is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Please be aware of our classroom procedures and policies. I will hold you accountable for your choices, good and bad. Review these slides if you forget, and ask for help if you need it! My two expectations are:
Respect each other and the learning environment
Show effort to understand the material through participation in classwork

Hillcrest Middle School student handbook- you are responsible for knowing and following the policies and rules of HMS and Greenville County School District.
Some of the most important things to know:
cell phones, smartphones, and personal technology devices (gaming devices, smart watches, and other like items) are not allowed to be used from 8:30-3:15.
dress code is enforced- please wear appropriate sizes and lengths of clothing- hoods on hoodies are not allowed to be covering head in the building
wear your student ID at all times
charge your Chromebook nightly
the Chromebook belongs to the school, so take care of it and be mindful of what you do on your Chromebook
bullying in any form is not tolerated- this includes verbal, physical, and cyber- we will investigate reports of bullying that happen in school and out of school
keep your hands to yourself
