About Me

I am so excited to be back at Grove Elementary School this year serving as the literacy specialist! I have also taught first, second and third grades and served as a reading interventionist and OnTrack facilitator. I received my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Alabama and my Masters in Elementary Education from Anderson University. I also hold certification as a literacy teacher.

My husband, George, and I have three amazing sons, an incredible daughter-in-law and our very first grandchild. We love spending time together as a family whenever we can. Traveling is also at the top of our list whenever we get the chance. I really enjoy reading and also ensuring our students do as well!
