Hello! My name is Mrs. Krista Anstead. I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. My husband and I moved to Greenville in March of 2020, and we love it here! 

I graduated in 2007 from Miami University with a degree in Family Studies and later earned my ESOL endorsement from the University of Cincinnati. I taught preschool for my first two years, and then I taught ESOL for grades K-6 for 5 years. When I moved to Greenville, I transitioned to teaching high school! I taught at Berea High School for 5 years. I'm excited to now transition to middle school and still be in the Bulldog family! 

Some of my hobbies are traveling, exercising, reading, playing board games, making Halloween decorations, and hanging out with my FIVE fur babies. I have been to 16 different countries, and I lived in Haiti for three months. My favorite trip was to Ireland. Some things that are important to me are family, going to church, serving others, and healthy living. 

I studied French for three years in high school, and I speak a little Haitian Creole still from when I lived in Haiti. I'm working very hard to become fluent in Spanish!

¡Hola! Me llamo Krista Anstead. Soy originaria de Cincinnati, Ohio. Mi esposo y yo nos mudamos a Greenville en marzo de 2020, ¡y nos encanta!

Me gradué en 2007 de la Universidad de Miami con una licenciatura en Estudios de la Familia y posteriormente obtuve mi certificación ESOL de la Universidad de Cincinnati. Enseñé en preescolar durante mis dos primeros años y luego enseñé ESOL para los grados K-6 durante 5 años. Al mudarme a Greenville, ¡comencé a enseñar en la preparatoria! Enseñé en la Preparatoria Berea durante 5 años. ¡Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar mi nueva etapa en la secundaria y seguir formando parte de la familia Bulldog!

Algunos de mis pasatiempos son viajar, hacer ejercicio, leer, jugar juegos de mesa, hacer decoraciones de Halloween y pasar tiempo con mis CINCO mascotas. He visitado 16 países diferentes y viví en Haití durante tres meses. Mi viaje favorito fue a Irlanda. Algunas cosas importantes para mí son la familia, ir a la iglesia, servir a los demás y llevar una vida saludable. Estudié francés durante tres años en el instituto y aún hablo un poco de criollo haitiano de cuando vivía en Haití. ¡Estoy trabajando muy duro para hablar español con fluidez!
