ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages.
ESOL is designed for students whose native language is not English. The central objective for students in an ESOL class is to further develop their English language acquisition in the domains of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
The students in my class will study units from one of the following National Geographic Inside textbooks: Fundamentals 1 or Fundamentals 2.
Each unit will include instruction on vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and listening and speaking practice.
