Medicaid or Tefra 

1. Medicaid:  Based on Household Income

2. Tefra (Medicaid):  Enables children with disabilities (up to age 18) to qualify for Medicaid based on their own income, not the parents', to live at home.   

3. It is best to select “fee of service” - this will not cost you a thing but provides the most available services

Incontinence Supplies 

1. Diapers, briefs, wipes, incontinence supplies, or underpads

2. Child must have Medicaid or Tefra 

3. Child must be 4 years old or older

Family Connections:

1. Making connections, raising awareness, and promoting inclusion for those with disabilities and special healthcare needs

Medicaid Waivers and Services

1. Medicaid Waivers: Programs like the MCC waiver allow for specialized care,including paid parent caregivers (if qualifies)

2. Home Health, Respite, Reimbursement for travel for therapies, etc 

 The South Carolina Health Insurance Premium Payment (HIPP) program 

1. Helps with premiums for private health care if you have Medicaid
