What is Amira?
Amira Learning is an application site that Greenville County Schools will use to screen all students three times each year in reading mastery. Students also use the site to read aloud for practice about 30 minutes per week during independent reading. The Amira site listens to the student read and offers tutoring tips at strategic points of error. Parent reports are sent after the fall, winter, and spring screenings. An explanation of the parent report is linked below.
What is Reading Horizons?
Reading Horizons is a systematic and explicit phonics curriculum used with all of our kindergarten, first, and second grade students.
