Instrument Audition Practice

1-STEADY BEAT: Students will be asked to clap a steady beat with a metronome and maintain the steady beat once the metronome stops

2-COORDINATION 1: Students will be asked to keep the steady beat by tapping their right foot on beats 1 & 3 and patting their right hand on their left shoulder with the steady beat

3-COORDINATION 2: Students will be asked to keep the steady beat by tapping their right foot on beats 1 & 3 and patting their right hand on their left shoulder with the steady beat while patting beats 2 & 4 with their left hand on their left leg

Students will be asked to echo 4 different rhythm patterns on the hand drum. Each pattern increases in difficulty level.
