Tardies
If you are late to class, please enter quietly and walk to your desk without interrupting anyone else. Leave your note on your desk, and I will come by to talk with you.
After your 4th and 5th tardies, you will have one hour of after-school detention, and your parents will be informed.
After your 6th tardy, I will refer you to our Principal.
*Leaving class to go to the bathroom, water fountain, or your locker counts as a tardy. Please do these things between classes.
Absences
If you must be absent from class, make arrangements ahead of time to make up a test, quiz, or assignment that you will miss during that class day. You have 5 school-days to make up missed work. You must bring in an excuse slip from the office after being absent from class.
Classroom Behavior
While you are in class, it is expected that you will participate in the class lesson. When the lesson is done, you will work on assignments from your other classes. You will also be courteous and not act in any way that would cause other students to be distracted and unable to concentrate on their own work.
