My name is Lisa Foley and I began teaching 25 years ago at a magnet school for the Arts and Science in Virginia. The position allowed me to do arts integration training for 5 years at the Kennedy Center. My passion is teaching art through an integrated lens so students can learn about content in many ways. I have taught visual art and arts integration for the last ten years in Essex Junction, VT before relocating to Greenville. Prior to my teaching career I worked as a Certified Kitchen Designer and have worked as a food sculptor and photo stylist. Working in the arts before beginning my teaching career has made me a better arts educator. I received my bachelor's from Edinboro State University in Pennsylvania and my master's degree form St. Michael's College in Colchester, VT.
I am married and have two children, one of which is an OT and the other is a Behavior Interventionist. I enjoy spending time cooking, reading and and hiking.
