Hello. I have been teaching for 26 years. I have taught kindergarten - third grade. Before moving to Greenville, I lived in Florence, SC and worked in Darlington County which is next door. I taught there for eight years. This is my nineteenth year here at Berea. I began here as a second grade teacher and later became a reading interventionist. For the past nine years, I have been the literacy specialist. This year, I am returning back to the reading interventionist role. I am excited about helping students improve their reading abilities.
When I am not working, I like to watch movies and take walks around my neighborhood. I also like to spend time with my family especially my husband and son.
