About Me

I attended Clemson University and graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am also Read To Succeed certified. I graduated in 2026 with my Master's in Literacy from Clemson as well.

I have been teaching for 9 years now and cannot imagine doing anything else with my life.

One thing about me is that I LOVE to read! I enjoy reading on the weekends and on longer breaks from school. My favorite genre to read is mystery/thriller or fantasy novels!

Teaching children to love reading and to be lifelong readers is my passion and what drives me to be the best teacher I can be!

I live in Greenville, South Carolina with my husband, Logan, and our dog named Zuko. Last school year, 2025-2026, we welcomed our first child, Beckett! We love him so much and love the joy he brings to our little family! 

We spend most of our time together on family walks with Zuko, playing with Beckett, on vacations to the beach, or in the mountains in North Carolina.
