About Me

I attended Clemson University. I graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am also Read To Succeed certified.

I have been teaching for 6 years now and cannot imagine doing anything else with my life.

I am currently back in school at Clemson to get my Master's Degree in Literacy.

One thing about me is that I LOVE to read! I enjoy reading on the weekends and on longer breaks from school. My favorite genre to read is mystery/thriller or fantasy novels!

Teaching children to love reading and to be lifelong readers is my passion and what drives me to be the best teacher I can be!

I live in Greenville, South Carolina with my husband, Logan, and our dog named Zuko. Zuko is chaotic but adds so much fun to our lives! 

We spend most of our time together on walks with Zuko, on vacations to the beach, or in the mountains in North Carolina.
