This is five year old me! I was already thinking about careers. At age nine, I realized that I wanted to be a teacher. Teaching has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. Let's start year 30 with a bang!
I am a native of Charleston, SC and received my teaching degree from Winthrop University. After college, I traveled as a singer and dancer around Canada, America, and Europe for a year and a half. Because of my performing arts background, our class will be rich with music, drama, speech, and dance experiences.
In addition to my work as a teacher, I am a historian who has published work related to my research and travel around the world. I can't wait to share those stories with you.
