6th Grade Course Objectives
Our goal is to help students explore a variety of literary and informational texts while building strong literacy skills. Students will learn to analyze and understand how writers create meaning and will practice using those techniques in their own writing to connect and respond to what they read.

B = 80-89

Please check your students’ grades weekly to see how they are performing.
Students will receive an NHI if they do not turn in an assignment. They will have 5 days after the due date to get it turned in.
If a student receives below a 50 on an assignment, it will have GFA in the grade book. They will have 5 days to work with the teacher to determine a way to improve the grade.
