🌟 Spanish 1 – Getting Started with Spanish

Spanish 1 is an introduction to the Spanish language and the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. By the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Communicate in simple conversations—greetings, introductions, likes and dislikes, family, school, and daily life.
  
  

• Ask and answer basic questions and write short sentences about familiar topics.
  
  

• Understand the main idea of short, simple texts and conversations.
  
  

• Explore cultural traditions, foods, holidays, and daily life in Spanish-speaking countries.
  
  

• Make connections between Spanish and English, learning how languages and cultures can be similar or different.
  
  

✅ After Spanish 1, students can express themselves in Spanish at a beginner level and feel confident using the language in everyday situations.
