GREENVILLE HIGH MAGNET PROGRAM
Greenville High Academy's Law Program is oriented toward students interested in learning about and working in the fields of Law, Law Enforcement, and Public Policy. Learning the history, development and rationale behind the American Legal System and its Laws and Regulations through critical thinking and analytical writing, as well as lively discussions and classroom debates, students will be challenged to improve their ability to express themselves through evidence based argumentation and synthesize new rules through examination of various sources of law.

Dear Students,
Once again, the excitement and anticipation of a new school year is upon us.
My teaching philosophy centers on three concepts: First, every one of you is capable of more than you imagine and I will challenge you every chance I get. Second, while you will be expected to learn the material and do your best on every assignment, my primary goal is for you to leave my course with an ability to engage in critical thinking and evidence based analysis. Third, people have different talents and strengths. Some of you may be able to do very well without any extra work, and some may have to put in additional effort or do extra assignments, but each of you can succeed if you work hard. Students who are not satisfied with their grade, assuming they are current on all assigned work, may always ask for additional work to earn extra points.
Your input, analysis, and critical thinking make each class a new experience. You each bring different experiences and perspectives to our classroom. Sharing them and participating will help all of us, including me, have fun and gain new and useful knowledge.
