Class overview
Students will study world civilizations to uncover trends from prehistory to present day. Instruction will utilize the historical thinking skills and themes developed for grade six. These historical thinking skills are aligned with the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate of world-class knowledge, world-class skills, and life and career characteristics. Through inquiry, students will be given many opportunities to analyze primary and secondary sources and then design and communicate their findings.
Inclement Weather Policy: Any day school is not in session due to weather, students will still be expected to complete e-learning assignments. I will have a Google Meet throughout the day for each class period. Students are expected to be in the Google Meet at the beginning of class so that attendance may be taken. The schedule is as follows:
2nd Period: 9:00-9:55am
3rd Period: 10:00-10:55am
4th Period: 11:00-11:55am
5th Period: 12:40-1:35pm
