NHI & Late Work School Policies
NHI: All late work will result in an NHI (50%). You have 7 school days to make it up.
If you complete an assignment after the due date it is YOUR responsibility to inform me. Assignments more than 7 days late will not be accepted.
Retakes (8:00-8:25): You have 7 additional schools days to redo only major assignments such as tests and projects.
If you score a 69 or below, then you have to re-do the assignment.
Navigating Late Work & Deadlines:
Success in this class requires consistency and personal responsibility. Turning in assignments on time helps you stay on track and allows you to show respect for the learning process– and most importantly, for your teacher’s time in providing meaningful feedback.
Always turn in your work on time: Assignments are designed to build on each other. Staying current ensures you’re ready for the next lesson and discussion.
Communicate early: If you are falling behind, it is your job, to reach out BEFORE the deadline passes so we can come up with a plan to catch up. Ask for help when needed!
Late work policy: Late work may be accepted on a case by case-by-case basis when students communicate with the teacher. Uncommunicated late work will not be accepted.
