Hey! My name is Cathryn Gallione, and I am a pre-k special education teacher. I have an M.A. and a B.A. in Biblical Counseling from BJU, and I have worked as an aide in a special ed classroom for the past three years, and have also taken an RBT training course through UTSA. I'm really looking forward to continuing my journey in education by stepping up into a teaching role this year through the GATE program.
I have a deep passion for working with children and creating a safe, understanding, and nurturing environment for them to grow to achieve their fullest potential. I am so excited to get to know all of my students this year and to get to find out all about what makes them happy and how they learn best.
When I'm not at work, you can find me swing dancing with my friends or rehearsing for and performing in my theater's musicals. Things I love (besides teaching) include my kitty Ember, the ocean, being active in any capacity, music, snow, and fireworks.
Hi! I am Cindy Woodside. I am looking forward to this school year and learning about each of our students. It is a pleasure helping them to learn, develop, and grow. I have been in education for 10 years. Prior to that I was in social work for twenty-five years. My passion and joy in life is helping people.
I have lived in Simpsonville for over thirty years. My husband and I have been married for thirty years. We have two grown children, Ryan and Gracyn, and our first granddaughter, Nova. We also have two fur babies, Ulfie and Koda, which are English Pointer dogs.
Some of my favorite things are reading, the color purple, Mexican food, and the mountains. My husband and I love fly fishing and camping. Our dream is to retire in the mountains. Until then I am blessed to work with children and be a part of their story.
