Individual Graduation Plans

What is an IGP?

An IGP is an individual graduation plan, a student specific educational plan detailing the courses necessary for the student to prepare for graduation and successfully transition into the workforce or post-secondary education.  The IGP is a state requirement for 8th through 12th grade.  In addition to the student, a parent or guardian should be directly involved in developing the IGP.

Class Presentation slides will be shared at the bottom of the page and under the Resource section on each Class page.

What topics are covered in an IGP meeting?

Topics covered during an IGP meeting include post-secondary goals (college and career), the state's college and career readiness criteria, a review of the student's academic record (current grades and GPA/Rank if applicable), academic support, college readiness assessments (ex: SAT and ACT), career readiness assessments, SchooLinks tasks, and more!

When is my IGP meeting?

Each year, students will receive an invitation letter to their IGP meeting.  For the 2023-2024 school year, this letter be sent to you digitally with your appointment time.  IGP meetings are held for students in person; parents are welcome to attend in person or request a Google Meet link from the student's counselor 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. If you need to reschedule your IGP, please contact your counselor 2 business days in advance.

Parents and students are able to view, make changes, and comment on the Individual Graduation Plan that will be filled out for your IGP on SchooLinks.
