Student attendance is extremely important to a student's academic success. Our website is intended to provide important information regarding attendance policies, early dismissals and tardies.
WELCOME TO THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
GCS attendance policy states that any absences in excess of 5 days for a semester will not be excused without medical documentation. We strongly encourage parents and students to review the Attendance guidelines in the MHS Student Handbook (Student Handbook), on the Greenville County Schools website ( GCS Attendance Rules ) or on the Attendance Policy tab located above.
