Studio

The Metals Studio is fully equipped with torches for soldering, enameling kilns, rolling mill, drill press, shears, buffing machine, electroforming tank, hammers and stakes, bending brake, casting equipment, patinas, etching area, documentation set up, library, and computers for digital design and editing images. Primary materials will include copper, brass, nickel, sterling silver, and occasionally steel and aluminum.

Each student is assigned a lockable jeweler's bench with a complete set of hand tools, including a flexible shaft machine, saws, files, pliers, and safety glasses.

The studio is on par or with college-level institutions, as is the curriculum and student work created.
