I am beginning my 27th year of teaching, and I am excited to be returning to Wade Hampton High School! I am a graduate of JL Mann High School, I earned my Bachelor of Science Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Furman University, and I have my Master of Education degree from Southern Wesleyan University. I have been teaching at WHHS since the fall of 2014.
I am a national board certified teacher in mathematics, and I have completed my Google Educator Level 1 and Level 2 certifications. I love learning new ways to incorporate technology into my classroom.
My husband is a retired high school science teacher who now works full time at a bicycle shop. We have two children (ages 14 and 16), two dogs, and a bearded dragon. We enjoy doing all sorts of outdoor activities together as a family.
This year, I am teaching AP Computer Science Principles and Pre-Calculus Honors in the fall. During spring semester, I am teaching AP Computer Science A and AP Calculus AB. I am looking forward to working with you as you learn this year!
