Alexander Elementary School Counseling 

Welcome to the AES Eagles Counseling Department!  I am Lisa Mercurio, School Counselor at Alexander Elementary School.  As a school counselor, I work with students, parents, and teachers through a comprehensive counseling program. School Counseling Department Vision & Mission Statement

The mission of the School Counseling Department at Alexander Elementary School is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that addresses academic, personal/social, and career development for all students to help them achieve long term success, as well as be respective and responsible citizens in their community.  In partnership with other educators, family members, and community members, the AES School Counselor will facilitate academic achievement and healthy development through individual student planning, guidance curriculum, responsive services and system support.

The vision of the Alexander Elementary School Counseling Program is for every student to be provided with a safe and positive learning environment that also promotes creativity and diversity through a developmentally appropriate counseling services.  Every student will acquire the academic, career, and personal/social skills to reach their fullest educational potential and successfully manage their lives as healthy, responsible, life-long learners.  The counseling program strives to collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and other school and community members to promote student success in all developmental areas:  academic, personal/social, and career.
