I am so happy to be at Monaview! I was born in Mexico but grew up in the United States. After high school, I became the first in my family to attend college. This will be my first year teaching MLP, but my eighth year as an educator. 

I graduated from USC Upstate in 2018 with a Bachelor in Elementary Education.  I graduated from Clemson in 2022 with a Masters in Literacy and a focus in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages).  I have my Read to Succeed Literacy Teacher endorsement.  The state of South Carolina considers me highly-qualified to teach.

I am the youngest of five children and very proud of my older siblings. My husband and I currently do not have any kids. Outside of school, I enjoy watching movies, reading, and traveling. I look forward to a wonderful school year!  

¡Estoy muy feliz de estar en Monaview! Nací en México pero crecí en Estados Unidos. Después de graduarme, me convertí en la primera de mi familia en asistir a la universidad. Este año será mi primer año enseñando MLP, pero mi octavo año como educadora.

Me gradué de USC Upstate en 2018 con una Licenciatura en Educación Primaria.  Me gradué de Clemson en 2022 con una Maestría en Lectura y un enfoque en TESOL (enseñanza de inglés a hablantes de otros idiomas).  Tengo mi respaldo de maestro de alfabetización de Read to Succeed. El estado de Carolina del Sur me considera altamente calificado para enseñar. 

Soy la menor de cinco hijos y estoy muy orgullosa de cada uno de mis hermanos. Mi esposo y yo actualmente no tenemos hijos. Afuera de la escuela, disfruto ver películas, leyer y viaja.  ¡Espero un maravilloso año escolar!
