The mission of the Simpsonville Elementary School library program is to provide an inviting, dynamic learning environment with services that support and enhance teaching, literacy and learning.
The library is open from 7:00 - 2:30 on school days.
K5 and 1st Grade students may check out one book at a time during their biweekly library visit. 2nd Grade students may check out two books and 3rd-5th Grade students may check out three books during their biweekly library visit. If students have reached their limits, they may not check out another book until a book is returned. Teachers may check out as many books as needed.
Students may visit the library at any time with their teacher's permission. If Ms. McAlister is teaching a class in the library, visiting students should remain respectful and quiet.
Students are expected to follow the library rules which are to be:

If a student's behavior does not meet expectations, the following consequences will be given:
