My name is Carrie McAlister and I am so excited to be the library media specialist at Simpsonville Elementary! I previously worked in banking and decided to pursue my passion so that I could become a school librarian. I earned my Master of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina. This will be my 6th year as librarian at Simpsonville and I am thrilled to share my passion for reading with everyone who comes to SES! Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my little pup, Macie, reading (of course!), hanging out with my sweet friends and family, and hiking.
