Mentoring

Thank you so much for expressing an interest in mentoring at Plain Elementary!

Breakfast and Lunch Buddies volunteer to meet with a student once a week for 30 minutes during either breakfast or lunch throughout the school year to provide friendship and encouragement.  We are looking to expand the program and would love to add 10 new mentors this year.  A short training session is provided to equip volunteers interested in becoming a mentor.  If you are ready to dive in, or would just like more detailed information, you can access the training below. After you have reviewed the information, if you decide you'd like to commit to mentoring a student, a mentor application and interest form is linked below. Volunteers do not have to have a student at Plain Elementary to become a mentor.
