MHS National Honor Society

Juniors are expected to complete 15 service hours. Seniors are expected to complete 20 service hours (10 of which will come from a Senior Service Project). The hours should be documented on an assignment within the National Honor Society Google Classroom. Members do not have to wait the end of the semester to submit completed hours.

Within the Google Classroom, the NHS officers will have compiled a list of possible opportunities for service that will be available by the date of the first meeting.  Please use these suggestions for inspiration as you consider how to contribute to your community.  Also within the Google Classroom, members will be able to find a list of service requests that have been submitted by teachers if teachers make requests.

As part of the required service hours, seniors must complete a service project. Expectations for Senior Service Projects are detailed below.
