Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program for 4th and 5th grade students. Interested students read 10 books from the SC Book Award List and attend practice after school once a week beginning in December. The team will answer questions about the books in a quiz bowl type competition against other Greenville County elementary schools in the spring. Last year LFE hosted a regional tournament at our school. Lake Forest has a long history in BOB participation in GCS.
