Barbara Zinkovich, 

Library Media Specialist

This is my third year at LFE. My husband and I call South Carolina home. In addition to living in the Midlands and in Greenville,  I have lived and taught in Massachusetts, Arizona, North Carolina and Moldova (a small country in Eastern Europe) while serving in the Peace Corps. I live in Travelers Rest and when I'm not reading, gardening or cooking, you can find me riding the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Hello! I am so excited to me at LFE in the Media Center. I have worked for Greenville County for 6 years as a Special Education Para, Media Clerk and Attendance Clerk. Being in a room filled with books is my happy place.  My husband and I moved to SC in 2016, we have 3 children (Kyla, Dylan and Kayden). We are so lucky to have found this area and call it home. My hobbies include anything water, food, reading and sunshine!! I can't wait to meet the students and families - It will be an amazing year!
